This image is called Mount Williamson, by Ansel Adams who is one of the most famous land scape photographers ever to have lived. The reason i like this picture is because it is so simple the foreground of the rocks, and the background of the mountains. It also works really well in black and white as the contrast between the rocks and shadows is perfect. I also really like how you can see the sunlight through the clouds in the background.

This Photo is called Colorado columbine and is taken by John Shaw. The reason i like this photograph is because the background is perfectly chosen to bring out the right and vibrant colours of the flowers, i also really like how there is not just one flower in shot but two, they work well relly together and it shows two separate views of the flower, front on and side on. This shows how the flower is structured with its peculiar petals that tail backwards.
